I've combed through hundred of articles and books to rank each animal and mythical creature on this list in terms of battle prowess. Specifically, I use a Pokemon-esque stat system the considers the following attributes when determining a victor.
Fight IQ
Power
Aggresiveness
Speed
Intelligence
Terrain Boosts (where applicable)
Terrain boosts can mean the difference between winning and losing when it comes to fantasy battles. For example, an Alligator gains a massive advantage when fighting a jaguar in deep water but is nerfed signficantly when fighting on shore or in shallow water.
In future updates, you'll be able to apply terrain boosts to each battle yourself as well as view the animated battle in the finest pixel art known to humankind. So be sure to bookmark this page and check back frequently for more fun.
